I got a new mystery today, which is good because it will give me something to do on Shabbos. Heaven forbid I should sit with my grandchildren on Shabbos instead of them running around the neighborhood just because the weather is getting nicer. But it looks like a good story. Maybe I will tell you about it when I’m done.

It’s warming up a little, but not enough yet. I hate the cold. I should just move to Boca.

Yesterday the TV was so excited it was St. Patricks Day but if you ask me, I don’t care. No one even knows the story of the holiday and everybody drinks like it’s Purim. If you’re going to celebrate a holiday, you should know why. Jews tell the story of the holiday, then they get drunk. By the way, will it ever be spring?

I’m so sorry I haven’t written in a while. I got involved in this one story with these two gentlemen that knew this lady, and you thought the whole time that one was the killer, and then it turned out to be someone else entirely. It was a great story. There’s supposed to be a sequel soon. I have to read that one, too.

I’ve been reading a lot more lately. TiVo lets me watch all my stories in a row at the end of the week, so now I just read more. The library has a lot of books I haven’t gotten to yet. They just got a new box of mysteries donated and I’m looking forward to getting to all of them.

Why has television gotten so awful? There’s hardly anything to watch aside from my stories. Even the Wheel isn’t fun anymore. All those prizes for such easy questions. I can still watch Jeopardy sometimes.

The great thing about Valentine’s Day is all the cheap candy afterwards. I went to Walgreens today and got some for the kids. I don’t mind the goyisha holidays if it means I can get chocolate for the kids. Well, a little. The commercials go on too long. I’d just give them my own chocolate, but too many people wanted it.
